For the gripping fifth season of the Golden Calf-winning crime series Mocro Maffia on Videoland, Drone Department supplied all primary cinematic aerials and high-intensity action shots. The dark, unforgiving underworld narrative demanded visceral aerial perspectives to capture the escalating conflict between Amsterdam's rival crime syndicates.

Operating dual-operator DJI Inspire cinema drones alongside high-speed FPV platforms, we captured high-speed vehicle chases, tense nighttime dockside handoffs, and atmospheric cityscape overviews. The dual-operator workflow allowed the pilot to navigate tight urban obstacles while the camera operator maintained razor-sharp framing on the drama.

Operating under our full EASA Specific authorization allowed seamless execution of complex night operations, close-proximity filming near actors, and controlled airspace clearances across the Port of Amsterdam.
